Musical Masquerade and Gala Dinner Supporting Rennie Grove Hospice

The Diamond Trust was the headline sponsor of a Musical Masquerade and Gala Dinner held in aid of Rennie Grove Hospice Care.

The Right Honourable The Countess Howe, who is a supporter of the hospice, very generously allowed the use of her lawn for a beautiful marquee for this spectacular event.

Following a champagne reception, where guests had the opportunity of entering the tombola and a ‘guess the number of diamonds in the glass’ competition, we enjoyed a three course dinner.

Between the courses we were entertained by four professional artists who sang songs from popular oprera and the musicals. Our guests had a memorable evening and a few went home with prizes.

The work of Rennie Grove is enormous and hundreds of people would testify to their tireless work. They receive a very modest amount of income from the government and a largely funded by donations from supporters. Every day they need to raise over £18,000 to maintain the status quo.

Guests also had the opportunity of getting their portraits taken in a photo booth studio. Our picture features Simon Double, Tracey Skeggs, Doreen Watson and Vivian Watson.
