Clarity

Tiny natural blemishes may occur in a diamond, mostly so small that they are invisible to the naked eye. These features are called inclusions, and affect the way light reflects within the stone. A hand lens with 10 x magnification is used to view inside the diamond.

Clarity grading is carried out according to the precise methods set down by the principal laboratories which are the recognised trade authorities.

We are able to tell you the quality of the diamonds in your ring.

If you would like to take a closer look ask us to show you how to use a 10x lens or loupe.
